Brand design that ships as code
I designed, built and branded this client portal end to end: identity, interface, tools and one very serious stone.
I design the brand, then build the website or app that carries it. Identity, interface, motion and code, from one person.
A brand engineer carries design decisions all the way into the browser. Here is what I do, end to end.
Concept, voice and art direction, from first sketch to launch.
BrandA name, mascot, wordmark, palette and voice, all documented.
BrandStores and themes built around the brand, not around a template.
EcommerceMicro-interactions and scroll stories in CSS and JavaScript, calm instead of busy.
MotionScenes and textures rendered in WebGL, like the plasticine office in Stolid.
MotionFrom a floating palette for Mac and Windows to a portal with roles.
ProductEvery project starts here: I step out of the machine, sit at the computer, and the brand, the site and everything I build start popping up. Scroll.

Every result uses approved colors only, and every seed is reproducible. A lockup builder next to it enforces the wordmark rules.
First a plasticine face, then matte stone. Three moves: a side glance, a raised eyebrow, a wink. With reduced motion it becomes a still image.
Tokens in tokens.json with the reasoning behind each color, written rules and component cards. Plus a ten-second reel drawn by a GLSL shader.
From family-owned farms in Mexico to U.S. shelves. I worked with MAVRK Studio on the site and on everything that connects it to the outside world.
I redesigned and built the Shopify store: roasts by level, the origin of every bag and a short path to checkout.
It was not only the website. I took care of connecting the brand with Target and Whole Foods Market.
The site won Gold at the Davey Awards, General, Food & Beverage, for web design. Made together with MAVRK Studio.
A three-generation family brand with Blanco, Reposado and NeQuila, an alcohol-free agave spirit. It sells direct on Shopify.
The product page is where a bottle has to earn its price. I redesigned it as custom Shopify code, not a stock theme.
The page reacts: color, bottle and URL change together. Photos, logo and copy are the real ones, and the page is a simplified copy.
I redesigned the home page in custom code so it loads fast and weighs very little, without losing the brand tone: For People Who Show Up.
I built LYS Roar, a magazine about culture, lifestyle and tequila. It grows the brand beyond the bottle and has delivered excellent SEO results.
Bright highland agave with a clean, crisp character. Fresh citrus, subtle florals and a silky finish made for effortless pours and moments worth sharing.
A lightweight desktop app for designers and developers on Mac and Windows. One table per project, always within reach.
Colors with their code (HEX, RGB, HSL or a CSS variable), fonts with their role, notes and logos. No digging through five other apps.
Always visible, light or dark, Spanish and English, Google Sheets sync and a global shortcut. Your data stays on your computer.
The landing page has its own little monster and a mini game where you help Iso find his eyes and lips while dodging windows that chase him.
Vegan, dairy free, gluten free, no cholesterol. It began with one question: could an ice cream capture the gentle sweetness of Japanese rice?
The Original, Matcha and Chocolate. Each flavor tints the whole page, so the product stays the star.
Our Story, Flavors, Recipes and the Rice Cream Radar, a store locator so the ice cream can actually be found.
Our rice-based, non-dairy and gluten-free ice cream offers all the creamy, rich taste of traditional ice cream, without the cholesterol and with fewer calories.

If your agency needs one person who can take a brand from concept to a fast, beautiful site that people can find, that's me. I write my own code and sign what I make.
I've collaborated with MAVRK Studio for years on projects for U.S. brands, so international teams, time zones and standards are my normal. Based in Santiago, Chile.
Remote, from Santiago, Chile, for anywhere.
